Preparation and Shipping

Orders placed on Mephisto Bordeaux before 1 p.m., from Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays), are prepared and shipped the same day, subject to payment validation. Orders placed after 1 p.m. are shipped the next business day.

Each shipment has a tracking number allowing you to check its progress at any time. Except in specific cases (out of stock or special order), products are shipped in a single parcel to the address provided.

In-store Pickup (Click & Collect)

Would you like to collect your shoes more quickly ? Take advantage of our Click & Collect service to pick up your purchases made on our website directly in our Bordeaux store.

By choosing this collection method, you save time : your order is prepared and made available within just a few hours (depending on stock availability and the time of validation).

Delivery times and costs

Mainland France

  • Delivery by Colissimo within 48 to 72 hours from dispatch (Monday to Saturday).
  • Free delivery for purchases over €60, otherwise €8.
  • Maximum time limit : 7 business days from the date of order. Delivery times are given for information purposes only and are expressed in business days.
  • Possibility of delivery to a PickUp relay point (La Poste).

European Union

  • Shipping via Colissimo Expert International.
  • Average delivery time: 8 to 10 business days depending on the destination.

French Overseas Departments and Territories (DOM-TOM)

  • Shipping via Colissimo, average delivery time from 15 business days. Delivery times are given for information purposes only and are expressed in business days.
  • Orders are invoiced excluding taxes.
  • Local VAT and customs duties may apply depending on the region.

Outside the European Union

  • Shipping via Colissimo Expert International.
  • Estimated delivery time : from 10 business days depending on the country. Delivery times are given for information purposes only and are expressed in business days.
  • Billing excluding tax (VAT not included).
  • Import taxes or customs fees may be charged by local authorities.

  • Any inconsistency between country and postal code will automatically result in cancellation of the order and its refund.

Tracking and claims

In case of loss or non-receipt of your order, you must contact Colissimo in order to file a claim with their service. Mephisto customer service will not be able to submit a claim on your behalf.

To do so, please visit Suivre une lettre, un Colissimo ou un Chronopost - La Poste.

Following your request, Colissimo will carry out an investigation in order to determine whether :

  • Your order will be compensated because a problem occurred during delivery.
  • The investigation proves that your order was successfully delivered to the address provided.

Throughout this process, we invite you to inform our customer service of your issue and the steps taken with Colissimo. This will allow us to act quickly for a possible refund as soon as Colissimo communicates the conclusions of its investigation.

No claim will be accepted beyond 60 business days after shipment.

All products sold on Mephisto Bordeaux benefit from the legal guarantee of conformity and the guarantee against hidden defects, in accordance with Articles 1641 and following of the French Civil Code.

Delivery errors or incidents

  • In the event of an error in model or size, return and reshipping costs are covered by Mephisto Bordeaux. For international orders, the customer advances the costs, which are refunded upon proof of payment.
  • In the event of an incorrect or incomplete address or failure to collect the parcel, return costs are at the customer’s expense :

          - €8 for France.

          - An amount equivalent to the original shipping cost for international deliveries.

Mephisto Bordeaux undertakes to ship your orders as quickly as possible. However, we cannot be held responsible for delays or failure to deliver due to events beyond our control. This includes, in particular, cases of force majeure or incidents that fall exclusively under the carrier’s responsibility. Consequently, failure to meet delivery deadlines shall not give rise to any payment of damages to the customer.

Customs information

Orders shipped outside the European Union or to French Overseas Departments and Territories are invoiced excluding taxes.
Local taxes, import duties or customs clearance fees are payable by the recipient.
These amounts vary depending on the country, we recommend contacting your local customs office for further information.

The customs documents attached to each parcel indicate the total value and description of the shipped items.
